I've only had 2 annoying bugs honestly.

But what was the point in this thread? To take a petty stab?

Skyrim is full of annoying bugs. Torchbugs and Luna Moths, mostly.

The only bugs I've hit so far are the backwards flying dragon, no magic resistance, and very very very terrible graphics glitch.
I've remedied the dragons/resistance problem by reverting my game to 1.0, and the textures I can live with until they're fixed.

Other than that, I'm loving Skyrim. Slightly disappointed at the shortness of the questlines, but exploring, questing, and fighting have never been more enjoyable. ^_^

So in answer to the OP, no I would not have wanted it to be delayed. I went through months of waiting for it already, and would not have wanted to wait even longer for it. I'm fine with waiting until January for bugs to start being fixed. ^_^

For the most part the game works and it works really well.

I understand that for console games there is an expectation for little or no bugs on release day but would you have rather had the console versions delayed till next year while PC player get to enjoy it in november?

Not everyone is as much of a :tes: fan as I am so just wondering..

Such a helpful and insightful post for us console players, what a doucheb@g comment ,"For the most part the game works and it works really well."

Got it on 360, I haven't saw any game-breaking bugs, I have seen mammoths fly, and objects floating, but thats the extent, and I got about 120 hours in the game so far. I was afraid game would lag on the 360, but no it is even more smooth then oblivion. I have random freezes maybe every hour for 4-5 seconds but thats it. I'm very satisfied, but kinda disappointed spell making got taken out and destruction is well kinda bleh.

I can't afford a PC that can handle Skyrim, so console was my only choice.

Playing PS3, no real problems. The few glitches and one time I had some really bad framerate, but its easy to get over with. Played 85+ hours so far.

I've run into VERY few bugs, and nothing game-breaking (or game-changing).

I'm VERY satisfied, and think that Skyrim is the best TES yet, despite the constant [censored]ing on the forums.

I have gotten really bad lag on occasion and some quests won't complete on one character. I usually reload and everything is fine.

I am honestly very thrilled with the game. Once the new patch comes out I think A lot of complaining will die down.

I also think a year is a big overstatement. Maybe a month longer to finish some testing, because that's all it really needs. Problem replication and solutions.

I play on 360, and I haven't really experienced any problems except for the texture issue, which was, for the most part, fixed. So, no, I'm perfectly happy with having Skyrim now.

my glitches found so far(xbox):
-Was not able to move after leaving the ratway as if stuck to the door (fixed by loading autosave)
-a random giant body fell from the sky out of nowhere while exploring.

As you see I have no problems and love the game as much as any major tes fan out there.

No way man.

I dont know any PS3 or console player with any experience at all that would expect a game like this to not have bugs, or even complete meltdowns. It does kind of go with the teriitory. A harsh reality perhaps, but no amount of raging and promises to never buy products again will change that.

Even in games that have nowhere near the load on the systems that Skyrim has do it. If you are a console player, you really need to be aware of it. I mean, how many games were released this year with day one patches?

I got it for my ps3 because I love to play. It has issues, I have seen nearly all of the nasties that people are describing, and accepted them as I knew they would happen. Admittedly, the 1.2 stuff was pretty new, breaking it more than it fixed it, but That was just hilarious to me....talk about a mess. I am glad those dudes are not in charge of a nuclear power plant, or ICBM's or nanotech research or the large hadron collider...holy, can you imagine the mess then.

I think we have been waiting for this so long, and talked it up so much, that it has reached a kind of critical mass of [censored]e...We really need to relax and just let them get on with fixing it, and enjoy what we can in the meantime...I mean my god, how many threads have been made telling us all that "I have beat the game at -insert number here- hours and now it is boring" . Seeing that I have to say it cant be all bad....right?

gamers might leave a bit to be desired, but the game itself is at least fixable.....amirite?

what? personally i've had zero problems on the xbox, in fact i'm almost postive (mainly based on the ui) that the game was made for consoles (mainly xbox). Either way if the game was delayed to test for bugs and what not i would have been fine, bethesda games usually need patches near the release. I feel for the people who don't have fast internet connections as they can't get the patches

Since the 12th of November I have experienced 2 bugs. Arrows getting stuck in me and the contents of my house randomly disappearing and reappearing. Neither is game breaking, has effected my opinion of the game or has caused a rousing sense of indignation at the moral abuse Bethesda show their customers. Either I'm lucky or the rest of you are insane.
