Funny, my wife and I went on a "Vladimir Kulich bender" and watched
The 13th Warrior and
Ironclad last weekend. Had seen
The 13th Warrior half a dozen times before, it's one of our favorite films.
Ironclad is about the siege of Rochester Castle during the War of the Barons, when King John decides to renege on the Magna Carta and a group of barons go to war with him over it. It's incredibly violent and brutal, but has a lot of good actors. Kulich plays the leader of a band of
Nords Danish mercenaries hired by John. He's a bit older now but still an imposing figure for sure.
