Light Wolf Armor

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 9:24 pm

I really wish they had a light armor version of the wolf armor. That would have totally made me very very happy.

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of light armour.

Wolf armor looks completely different from fur armour. I want wolf armor. With wolf designs.

Then use heavy armour. Problem Solved.

Why can't we have a light version?

I use bow 'n arrow and stuff.

I mean we have elven and glass armor that mimic heavy armor. So why not some light wolf armor that mimics it's heavy version brother?

I thought for sure that you would be able to use wolf pelts to make some light "wolf armor" like the Nords did in the Morrowind expansion.

I mean it seemed like they were going out of their way to remind me of it.

Alas, no dice. What can ya do?

Yeah and their mimicking of heavy armour looks absurd. It's basically heavy armour that weighs less, it would not plausibly give you more freedom of movement because it covers the same parts in the same way.

True.

But outfits of choice for our characters isn't merely for the realistic aspects of it. It's part realism and cosmetic. What would our character wear.

Maybe some wolf chainmail or something like that would be kind of cool.

Why can't we have flying unicorns? Or a magical bear resistant to arrows to the knee, or why can't I be a professional basketball player? We all want things we can't have

I don't really think what I was asking for is that difficult though. And this was more of a comment thread in which people decided to turn into a debate.

Well, I suggest that you make it into a "why don't we have more armor" thread instead of a "why can't I have light wolf armor" thread.

Completing the stormcloak rebellion gives you the armor that Galmar uses. As close as you can get to "animalistic" armor.

I didn't realize that people would take it like that.

Light armor has always look kind of the same in TES. At least you now hve the scaled and different fur armors that are actually LIGHT.
