Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 10:07 pm

Hello everybody, after the Morrowind and Oblivion i played i saw that Skyrim is very impressive but not at all, i tell you what the next patch should fix:
1) While jumping can't attack on air.
2) Can't use spell with two-handed weapon and one-hand weapon with shield.
3) Can't dodge on runing or sprinting.
4) Companions don't have their own horses.
5) On first person camera, when hold a weapon we cannot see the hand.
6) Even on Ultra graphics the textures are like scaled pixels on everything, please improope the textures!
Thats all i saw which need to be fix.

lol

1) not noticed that you cant? i jump and attack alot.....
2) your both hands a re occupied, so how should you cast a spell?
3) are you running backwards so you see the attack? otherwise sounds like it should
4) that is a big miss i think, even that i like that lydia is running her butt of after my babarian :D
5) true
6) already mods out for that, bethesda will proberbly not attend to that.

there are alot of things that should be fixed, theese are only minor i think.

1) True, and mildly annoying.
2) This is the whole idea behind the new combat system. One button for each hand. Unless you figure out a way to make your character grow an extra arm, this ain't changing.
3) Well, you can't "dodge" at all, running or not. I personally think there should be an "Agility" skill which incorporates dodging (manually), jumping height and running speed, but that's a whole other debate.
4) True, hadn't actually thought about this. Probably because I never use companions.
5) What a startlingly unimportant complaint. Why is this a big deal?
6) There are texture mods out already. The textures are low quality because it's the same game as the console version; they need to be fairly low-quality because of the scale of the game.

Next patch needs to focus on fixing crashing problems for people. This should be the month long focus and then next month totally concentrate on fixing bugs in things like quests and balancing the game

1) Minor detail. Somewhat annoying, but not a game breaker.
2) Makes sense, actually. Your hands are full.
3) When sprinting, you're either charging the enemy or running away. Either way, the mindset is to get somewhere ASAP, so dodging takes a back seat to getting to your destination.
4) Packmules don't need horses.
5) So you'd rather look at your hand than the guy screaming "I'll gut you like a fish!"?
6) A valid point, at least when it comes to the PC version. Should be an option that gets rid of that waffle iron effect on characters. There are bigger problems to worry about at the moment though. Sure there are mods that fix this, but IMO it's something that should be there anyway.

If that's all you saw that needs fixing, you need to play the game more. :user:

Can't you? Can't say I've noticed. Will have to check that out.

2) Can't use spell with two-handed weapon and one-hand weapon with shield.

Not a bug. If you have both hands holding a weapn you don't have a free habd to use for spells. No fix - Not broke.

3) Can't dodge on runing or sprinting.

You can still sidestep or back up. That's dodging.

4) Companions don't have their own horses.

Probably a good idea. But I doubt it's a quick fix. Otherwise it would probably already be in.

5) On first person camera, when hold a weapon we cannot see the hand.

Trivial.

6) Even on Ultra graphics the textures are like scaled pixels on everything, please improope the textures!

Well I guess that'll depend on your hardware.

But seriously, compared next to significant issues, such as broken quest outcomes, quests not being marked as completed in the journal, magical resistances being broken, Weapons Stabds not being able to be interacted with, PS3 Lag or Dragons flying backwards all of these suggestions (And they are by and large suggestions as opposed to actual bugs) are pretty minor.

I know which i'd prefer to see Bethesda working on.
