Hey Guys -
I have many valuable items that are worth about 1,000 to 5,000 gold that I do not want anymore. The problem is however I don't know where to sell my goods. The general store at whiterun never has more than 1,000 gold. Is there any store or way I can sell my goods quickly and effectively in Skyrim.

Also I have many gems - what do you do with them?

If you are playing on PC you can give the vendors more gold via the console. If you're not playing on PC you will just have to sell, sleep, come back and sell again /repeat I'm afraid.

You can use rings in conjuction with gems in blacksmithing, sell them for more gold.

If you have high enough Speechcraft you can invest in vendors. This permanently increases the amount of coin they have with which they can make transactions.
