Wont Level Up?

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 6:14 pm

I seem to be stuck on level 15...

The bar is full and I've still no option to upgrade my skills.

If this has glitched on me, I will be seriously pissed.

This is probably a stupid question but are you sure the bar is full?

You don't gain XP for quests and stuff you gain XP for skill increases. Level up a skill, and see if the bar fills.

The Skyrim levelling system works as such:

- Using your skills (properly), slowly levels up that skill
- Every time a skill levels up, you gain a certain amount of "xp" towards your next level

The idea is that instead of grinding quests for XP like a traditional RPG and dumping points into what suits your planned playstyle, you instead play naturally doing what feels right and you grow in that direction with levels operating as milestones along your path.

Never had this problem so I don't know. Only similar thing that's happened to me is that the xp-bar looks full but it wasn't completely full.

Killing enemies don't give you exp.. only depending on your weapon/armor/blocking skill - if that one levels up, then your exp will also increase.
