I am sworn to carry your burdens

You would think that the amount of time you both spend together she would remember your name instead of 'what is it my thing'.

She seems alergic to housework, I trashed the tables in my house, left her there and returned later and it was all still a shambles. It's just not on what with me providing a roof over.

Almost every time my female Nord goes to sleep in Breezehome, Lydia is either in the bedroom when she goes to sleep, or leaving the bedroom when she wakes up. Not sure if creepy, or kind of hot.

It's too bad Lydia doesn't bake bread or polish spears like a certain Argonian maid I've heard of.

"I am sworn to carry your burdens..."
"I've got a pretty big burden Lydia, do you think you can handle it?"

I can picture her next conversation with Irileth...
"I used to be a housecarl like you, then.."(you know the rest)

If anyone here wants to play a mage, be prepared to hear "A healing spell...are you a priest?" every friggin time you heal her...

Easy solution... I don't heal her. She can heal over time on her own since she never uses potions I give her. :P

She's sworn to carry my burdens, but not the burden of marriage?

Lydia would be fine if she didn't think standing in front of my dual cast spells was the best idea she's ever had.

I see people say this a lot, she doesn't get in my way. Now Fawkes in Fallout 3 is a whole different type of stand in your way companion.

The amount of times I've run up to to loot the bodies and found Lydia with a massive ice spike in her back in amazing.

I never had a problem with Fawkes myself :s

I had a problem with him one time and only one time, in my Megaton house, Wadsworth, Dogmeat, and Fawkes thought it would be hilarious to stand all in a barrier to block my way out. It was aggravating. Funny now that I thnk about it.

Sven is near useless at combat, but by god he is a happy chappy, glad to carry all my crap and be my man-mule.

Lydia annoyed me with her can't be arsed attitude and moaning when asked to carry something.

Well, he did have a habit of impaling people in his front yard and watch them with callous disregard.

He was pretty damned creepy. One wonders why there aren't more movies and videogames about him as the antagonist instead of Mr. Hitler and the Nazis of Overdone.

But am I the only one who actually LIKES Lydia??

If you're playing on PC, just http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1183.

She's much more likeable after that.

Nope, I quite like her too. Aveline Iona is super-annoying though. "Hail to you thane!" every 5 seconds :pinch:
