Can I use Crysis Configurator 5.2 with Origin?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 3:45 am

Just downloaded the game and even at the lowest settings I'm only getting around 30 FPS. I found a program called crysis configurator that allows for some options to be turned off that the ingame menu does not allow. It asks me to find Crysis2.exe and set that path but I don't know exactly where thats located (first origin purchase) or if I can even use that program with an Origin direct download or if it only works with a physical copy. Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

I think I found the exe in the origin games folder under bin32/

When I click on it the program excepts the path but when I try to save the changes so I can launch the game from the program as instructed it says"unhandled exception has occurred" what could be causing this problem? I really would like to get rid of some of the bells and whistles the in game menus won't allow so I can get the game running around 40-45 FPS. On the surface this seems to be the easiest way for a novice like myself who can never seem to understand the more advanced ways like console commands that you more advanced tweakers use.
