The game just RANDOMLY used another of my activations. : Crysis

I just installed Catalyst 11.11 and when I clicked Crysis2 it asked me to activate it again.

What?

Is it because I moved it to the SSD? Cause that happened like a week ago.

if you are using a laptop, maybe you will have to configure catalyst to use the right graphic card (the radeon one) with the game executable. I had to do it with a nvidia one

hmm now u mention is samething happened to me.. it asked to me to activate it again when i upgraded the video card recently.
And i'm pretty sure it asked to me to activate it ~3-4 times total so far.. not sure why it asked me to activate it first 2-3 times cos it was while ago.

Anyway how many times can you activate it in total? and can you check how many times your account has been activated?

^ 5 times total before calling EA tech support and proving ownership.
Running activation.exe in ..\Crysis2\bin32 will display remaining tally.

hehe cool thanks. It says "Activations left: 5 of 5".. guess i haven't used any activations.

They are usually used up only when install cant find key info in the windows registry, as in a new machine or formatted hd...

Heh I guess I have 4 of 5 left, unless they screwed up the wording and I have 1 left.

But that wouldn't make sense, I've only activated it 3 times. I guess it counted them all as 1. It is the same PC afterall.
