Crytek dont have the funding to pay for big patches anymore, less and less people are playing.
It was their own fault..

Bad advertisment,
Publishment
Too many bugs... drawing people away from the start.
Demo not soo good.

It was doomed from the start.

I agree it needs a new patch, but it wont come.

The demo was awesome. The advertisemant was fine. Your other claims have no source other than statements that everyone says on the forums due to their own assumption.

Give me a source.

Crytek and how fail a game with a nice potencial.

and i clearly dont believe that then dont have fund to make a new patch. they are just lazy to fix their sh*t Crysis2 game.

Their advertisemants were great. I loved the amount of advertising they did, sometime I thought it was too much. That massive projector thing with guys playing Crysis 2 on the streets, then having to run before the cops got them. Brilliant.

1 weapon info page/ map flythrough released per week? All those projector stuff was videod and put on youtube and such, the nanosuit showroom, the lead up to this game's release was intense, they put a hell of a lot of money into advertisemants, I thought they had the going big thing in the bag. If only they had kept patching and patched sooner/more often... Bleh. The map-pack release dates were a disaster too.

=( tell me about it,,,
With 1.8 I was playing on my native 1680x1050 with ~40fps, and now with 1.9 I have to play on 1280x800 if I want playable MP -_-' (on my native res. I get ~25fps which is not playable)

Jared was probably trying to say that the game was not hyped as some other games (for exmpl like BF3, CODs, etc..). Maybe Crytek should have invested that money from advertisemants into fixing the game, because first game was successful advertisemant by itself...

Only thing this game lacks is a 2 way communication; they made a product, tried to fix it with few patches, and abandoned it. (that's 1 way comm, you're doin it wrong!)

Too bad they screw up with that 1.9 patch, they slowed the game, but I'm blaming community for that, because everyone was bichin' about (worthless) Dx11 and when they got it, the game became too slow (but hey, only ppl with low-end PCs (like me) suffers, who gives a fuk about them...).

I would be satisfied if Crytek made 1.9 patch optional, so players could roll back to 1.8 (at least with graphic things, to get few precious fps').

sorry for too long post, I had to open up my soul xD
