Unable to play multi player

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 7:36 pm

So here is my Issue. I have installed Crysis2 onto my computer and it will not allow me to login to play online. I have check all the basics ie: firewall, connection speed, ping. Nothing seems to work. When ever I attempt to login it gives me an error "check network connection".
Here are the stats on my connection
DL: 30.8 Mbps
UL: 25.12 Mbps
Packet loss: 0
Ping: 9ms
Jitter: 0ms
SO there is no way that my connection is not good enough for this game. The only thing that could be wrong is the game or some setting that I am not thinking of. Any help would be great thanks

Do other games work in multiplayer? You may be behind a very restrictive router or ISP.

Well I have it working now. What I ended up doing was changing fills in the bin 32 file of the game and adding the updated servers. If anyone runs into this problem just download the dedicated servers here https://secure.gamesas.com/support/ and add them to the corresponding files after you unzip it. This should take care of any issues that you have with signing in. I will be honest I was about to loss it and just download a hacked game to play online i have heard there out there. kinda sad I know but at least I bought the game first.
