  • Release game with 500+ confirmed bugs
  • A few days post-release: Patch 1.1 ensures skyrim.exe requires Steam, breaking the LAA launcher (thank goodness it can't be pirated, though!)
  • BETHESDA'S THANKSGIVING BREAK! (PS3 still has memory leak, Xbox 360 still has texture loading problems)
  • Almost three weeks post-release: Patch 1.2 introduces two severe bugs along with a few minor fixes, makes PC UI issues even worse
  • One week after that: Patch 1.3 fixes the severe bugs from 1.2, a few ambiguous optimization fixes
  • Upcoming: Get patch 1.3 out to PS3 and Xbox 360, will it fix their crippling issues? Who knows!
  • BETHESDA'S CHRISTMAS BREAK! Patching of 99% of the bugs will begin in January, see everyone then!

Personally, Skyrim's running just fine for me on PC for the most part, I just find this absolutely hilarious. At the current rate of perhaps ten fixes per month (I'm being generous), and with help from fans and modders, Skyrim might be somewhere close to fully patched in... a year, perhaps?

Skyrim would probably be fully patched right now if they'd release the damn CK.

My duo core system is def running the game better, and it ran fine for the most part in ultra on 11-11-11. Things look better in a way it's hard to put my finger on, stuff looks sharper, and riding my horse or running through the countryside now doesn't stutter when new stuff in the distance loads.

Just for the record.....and I really don't want to get into it, but......

For all the console gamers that keep bringing up the PC elitst thing....lets not forget that PC is dead.....constantly.

The road is paved both ways.

I really appreciate this patch. It cleared up all my frame rate issues and it runs as smooth as a dream now.

GOTY? Over my dead body.

I am willing to die preventing this game from going GOTY too.
PM me. Glad to know someone here has real commitment.

How come so far i haven't gotten any update notifications for any patch on my Xbox 360?
i know this one will come to Xbox in a week or so, but what about 1.1 and 1.2?
on other games, i get those "a new update is available" notifications, but none on Skyrim

I read most posts and I might have missed it but what does the 4GB loader thing do exactly?

And did someone say go to the Skyrim folder in the steamapps folder then properties etc to access it?
