Hey All,
Just confirming that I tried out sgt.gotee's suggestion last night and it works perfectly
For anyone else interested here's the quick rundown (copy and paste from original post on Reddit.com) :-
To copy an XBOX save file onto PC1. Copy the save to your 360 Formatted USB Drive.
2. Open with Modio. Click open from device locate the save file and open it.
3. Click the file contents tab.
4. Extract savegame.dat rename to savegame.ess and put it into your Skyrim save game location.
Modio (Reads 360 Formatted USB drives) - Get it here http://www.game-tuts.com/community/modio.phpIt's also possible to import PC saves back onto XBOX360 by doing the following (I am yet to try this yet but numerous posts on reddit confirm this works):-
Copy a PC save file onto XBOX3601. Rename pc save game to "Savegame.dat" exactly.
2. Open Modio and click "Open from a device." and then find your device and save game from Xbox. Any Skyrim save will do.
3. Go to File Contents and right click the Savegame.dat and hit Replace File, then find your pc save game to replace it with.
4. Go back to General File Info and hit "Rehash and Resign."
5. Press "Save to Device"
6. Now you can move the save to Xbox.
7. Now, it's important to know that the save game's name won't change from the original. Essentially the only way to know if you've done it right is to start up Skyrim and checking if your save is there, instead of the flash drive or hard drive. Good luck!
Its also possible to do this with Fallout New Vegas saves, exactly the same processes as above however you rename the savegame.dat to savegame.fos (I've tested this and again it works perfectly)
Hope that helps anyone else wanting to dual platform or even if you wanna be able to screen capture your character

happy days !!!!
