Do you think that Bethesda is....

You guys think Beth is aware of how popular this phrase has become and, do you think they might do something related to that in their coming dlc? Not in a millions years Beth thought their phrase would have caught so much attention.

Pete Hines on twitter - "Pouring rain. Ugly night for soccer. Would my teammates believe me if I said I was gonna come play, but then I took an arrow in the knee?".
So yes.

Yes thats what I originally was thinking, just doesn't seem subtle enough for bethesda though.

I bet they are. I' was surprised to see that joke today as a highest rated comment on some old youtube video that's completely unrelated to games.

If they aren't, none of them have ever been to a forum or watched a youtube video in the past month.

Perhaps they will finally reveal it was the guards' cousins who shot them in the knee to take in all the glory.

"My cousin is out fighting dragons, and what do I get? Guard Duty."

there should be a dlc that lets you shoot Ulfric in the knee thus reducing him to a lowly guard and allowing your ascension to high king

New DLC: The player must track down the infamous "Knee-Capper Bandit". Will the player vanquish the vile foe, or will (s)he become yet another recruit in the Whiterun Guard?

Beth might as well start making some T-shirts while this phenomena is still hot.

I figure the odds are that, yes, of course they are. Even if it wasn't their game, someone would have heard of it. Being their game, I'm certain that most of the employees are aware of what is being said about their game. Heck, they probably used to have a whole department that specialized in scouring the web for little tidbits of info on their game before they all took an arrow in the knee...
