I had a stack of 14 petty soul gems I bought and filled one at a time, and they won't stack. They're all worth 10. No idea why they won't stack, and I have no idea how to make items in inventory stack anyway (or split stacks).

Filled petty soul gems bought from merchants are worth 40 and do stack.
