Ever Pull Off a Finishing Move On a Dragon

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 10:08 am

I always do when I'm in front and using my razor. Half of the time I use my bow. It finds a nice spot to land and then dies when it gets comfortable. It's a shame it doesn't crash land like in the trailer. or e3 preview.

It does crash, I've seen it happen, although not frequent.

Also, every time I've done a finishing move I jump on it and bash it in the head repeatedly, except it always positions me on the side of the dragon so it looks like I'm hitting the air. Oh well!

Yeah I've done it heaps, mainly on my 1H & 2H warriors.

I've even seen Whiterun guards do it a couple times.

Yes...Lots

I did notice on my 2hand warrior I perform far more cinematic kill blow moves as opposed to my duel wield rogue

Epic, I've seen a one handed axe and one handed sword. I just thought of what a one handed dagger would look like. Starting up the game meow.. Dragons crash landing does happen but I've only seen it twice

This just happened to me for the first time. It was pretty cool. I think it's probably right that it only happens if you kill the dragon from in front of it, and generally I try to avoid being there, as I don't enjoy being eaten!

If you want to see what it looks like just go play Dragon Age Origins. It's a total ripoff from that game.

I've been playing for over a hundred hours and completed over a hundred quests, and just yesterday for the first time, I pulled a dual-wield finisher on a named-Dragon and the animation lasted 4 times longer than a typical finisher. It was quite awesome actually.

Have you guys been able to pull this off frequently or even at all?

I have several times. 1H move jumping up on his head. It reminds me of the finishing move in Dragon Age Origins.

just happened once for me (so far). I jumped around and straddled the Dragon's neck and then with 2 hands plunged my sword down its forehead

i did and it was the most ridiculous thing ever. im still trying to figure out how i killed a dragon by sitting on it and wildly swinging my swords in the air over my head.

Yep, my hero was trimming the dragon's eyebrows. I'm not gonna lie, though, I still get excited seeing them. They need to stay rare. Its not worth it if every kill is a finishing move.

My mage once did all the work to kill a dragon, then some random town guard got all the praise after doing a showy finish on it by getting the death blow :'( Well at least I got the loots.

I have pulled of many finishing moves on dragons, mostly with 2-handed weapons(since that is my main weapon)
