Here's how Bethesda looks after fan requests!

Nope not done one single quest does not implement disguises. Even faction armors are ignored by NPC's (especially DB,Stormcloak and Imperial come to mind)

I certainly don't think it falls under the disguise category, but I have guards comment on my Thieve's Guild and Dark Brotherhood armor all the time. It's actually the opposite of a disguise; it's a dead giveaway.

Interesting, I was rarely posting mostly lurking the last few years, I really only get post happy when I'm playing TES consistently. It's interesting that so much of the fans wishes were incorporated into the game, it also shows they watch the forum which is a bit disheartening. I certainly hope, that with all the unhappy people that post here, they don't think that the fan base is ungrateful. I love Skyrim and hope the Dev's understand most of us playing feel the same way.

Yes, some of the developers read (or at least skim) the forums. Developers also have thick skins - they *have* to, because there is always going to be someone complaining about how you did things. Sometimes, maybe the developer wanted to do it differently too... it's not always possible in the time constraints given or with the resources available. (Not even going to start on stress and crunch time in the industry.) But it's an amazing feeling when you read the positive comments - that someone you don't even know really loves that feature that you worked on personally. And at the end of the day, even the people who complained are playing your game, and care about it enough to discuss it on the forums.

Disclaimer: I do not work for Bethesda or ZeniMax.

Making a thread saying something nice about the game is like a magnet for complainers. The glass is way more than half-full and for most, it's almost overflowing with fun because this is a great game. We spent a year making suggestions in here and I can see them looking them over and using the ones they could implement within the resources. Great job! Now some people can go and write the game they want to play. It's easy, right?... and they should do that. It would be fun! :)

Dont you think that the inclusion of some things you like were due to "unhappy people" interacting with Bethesda on the forums and other means?

to people posting about complainers, this, without letting them know what we don't like how can we expect change later? Im not saying the game is trash but lets talk honestly about what is and isn't in the game and should or should not be changed, I can respect its all opinions though, which is why we debate on a forum

about the on touch spell, I dont consider the flame throwers touch because they do DOT not instant damage, and I dont consider the "ball" spells touch(fire ball etc) because touch spells would generally be more powerful(because you have to be in melee range), so I would say they were taken out

yes they do so. not to mention you can lure enemies into traps cause they don't always look where there going. also setting traps doesent always mean throwing something down to stop enemies or whatever. you could back them up to a corner. or Fus roh dah them off a cliff.

Definitely does NOT count. Traps have always been thief/ranger territory. A Mage's rune is not what I would consider a proper "trap".

And a star rested over the top iPalantir's house, and three kings from the far east came to pay homage. They brought with them 3 gifts, Frankincense, Gold and Murr.

LoL :DDDDD

The Khajiits also have Whiskers now because i made them for Oblivion..... :cheat: :whisper: :lightbulb: :whistling:

Weren't all of those in Oblivion, FO, FONV in one way or another?

Sorry, but you are really stretching it here.

Hmm... No.

Fallout: New Vegas do got some of these (Government and Disguises come to mind), but not all of them.

Physical Traps you is limited to moving a already-existent Bear Trap.

It's fine to disagree on these points, but let's remember the opening post is iPalantir's opinions on iPalantir's requests.

Does iPalantir not actually work for Bethesda?

I'm sorry, but all I see is a lot of coincidence. This game has been in development for years, I doubt they added all those features in the last half a year just because a post was made on the forums.

It's fine to be happy that all those things are in the game, but to claim that Bethesda was listening to you and then added stuff in is taking it a bit too far.

One thing this thread proves is that no matter what they do, people will complain it's not exactly what they wanted.

What? The OP was praising beth

What this "murr" stuff is, I don't even know.

Hmm... yes.

I am going by memory here:
You mean to tell me there were no stealthy spells/items/potions in Oblivion/FO/NV? Oblivion alone, go back a few hundred pages on this very same forum and see all the threads about 100% invisibility; in FO and NV , the Chinese stealth suit alone...
You mean to tell me there was no government in Oblivion/FO/NV? Same empire in Oblivion and Skyrim; FO had The Enclave, NV had the NCR.
You mean to tell me there were no pets in Oblivion/FO/NV? Oblivion had porkchop, FO had deadmeat, FONV had K9 (or whatever the name of the cyborg dog was)
You mean to tell me Oblivion/FO/NV had a very short list of ingredients?
You mean to tell me Oblivion/FO/NV did not have locations not showing on the map? Oblivion had the abandoned house, FO had Rocktropolis? (don't remember the exact name), NV had a couple, I just don't remember the names right now.
You mean to tell me Oblivion/FO/NV had no couriers? Messages were delivered to you in Oblivion by couriers. In NV, YOU were the courier, and there was an established mail system. Besides, having a "courier" does not necessarily mean there is a mail system within the game. The only game with a mail system was NV.
You mean to tell me you could not set land mines (traps) in FO/NV?

So, now that I have gone through these, the OP is not stretching it a little, the OP is stretching it a lot.

Well, it's fine if it's coincidence, I'd be happy all the same. A girl can dream all she wants though. And they made it real. That's what matters. :D

It does not matter. Having something in a previous game doesn't mean it will be included in the next. There was spellcrafting in Oblivion and Morrowind, but not in Skyrim. I don't take features for granted. So I asked for the ones I like. They got included. Simple ;)
