This was reported as being 'a spoiler' by someone and the topic was moved to the black hole that is the Hints, Cheats and Spoilers section never to be discussed properly and just basically forgotten.
This despite the fact that the random comment by an NPC was up for debate as to what they meant. Baring in mind it is well known that there are no Dwemers in Skyrim.
I wanted this comment, which is hardly a spoiler, to be discussed. Instead it descended into a heated argument between the reporter and other members of this forum who shared my point of view.
To make my point about how to define a spoiler, I have created a topic with the title "Existance of Mudcrabs confirmed in game." Because in my opinion, given that there actually ARE mudcrabs in the game, this is a spoiler for people who are yet to see them.
Added to which, any mention of ANYTHING in the game, trolls, hills, dragons, swords etc are ALL SPOLIERS to someone yet to encounter them.
Hence the whole concept of what constitutes a 'spolier' is totally ludircous.
For me, a spolier is to do with the plot of the game. An NPC making a random comment about 'Seeing a Dwemer' is not spoiling the game for anyone any more than me stating that there are mudcrabs in the game is.
The Hints, Cheats and Spoilers section is the mods way of sentencing your attampted discussion to death. Nice one!
Rant over!
P.S. I'll get banned for this now just you watch.
P.P.S Its true though.
