tdt

I can't get tdt from the console to display. I'm pretty sure that or something similar worked in Oblivion. Is there a way to get this to work or a new console command to get a location in game? Surely other people have noticed this? I haven't started navigating the g.e.c.k. yet, but seeing worldspaces and such on screen in game helped with the elder scrolls construction set. Surely you don't just drag through the world in g.e.c.k. without coordinates?

Stopped working in FO3, doubt it will ever be fixed.

Easiest way to find something in the GECK:

1. In Fallout:NV, find the item you want, or an item near it
2. Open up the console
3. Left-click the item, you'll see the 8-digit hexadecimal code up top
4. Jot that down (or print-screen)

5. Fire up GECK
6. Edit, Find Text
7. Plug in the 8-digit hex number and look at the objects tab

Most of the outdoor cells are in "NVWasteland" world. Then there are the strip worlds, places like Freeside, or the interior of the Lucky 38's Penthouse / Cocktail Lounge. Most everything else falls under interiors.

(The above process is how I keep track of objects that I want to fix in my object's fix pack over on the Nexus.)
