spell breaker is still the best item in game

Does this item level up with you?

no, unfortunately, none of the daedric items do, but i think this one has a set wand/damage resist no matter the level.

Ah right that's fine then. I don't mind about Daedric items not levelling since they're pretty much sufficiently powerful enough that it doesn't matter. It's those darn non levelling quest rewards that bug me.

I got Spellbreaker yesterday and I had Dawnbreaker for a while now. However, my forged Deadric swords and war axes do way more damage, plus I'm dual wielding. Hmm, Vorstag, my husband and travel companion might find it useful though. He's using a Daedric shield right now. LOL Right now the shield and the blade are on display in my homes (One in Markarth, one in Solitude) lol

After I started using it I loved that I got a comment from one of the guards - he said

"That shield... It looks dwarven made but... there's something different about it..."

I don't get how you can claim that quest is easy :/ Those

Yeah I had the good luck of having the dragon priest mask which grants poison immunity. I only remembered I had it after getting killed twice. Its also when I realized I needed to have a little more health if I was going to try things on master difficulty with the skill-set I was using.

Also, has anyone else noticed that it seems to completely negate shouts used on you while blocking? Or is that just a shield thing? I just like that when I've fought a couple enemies with the disarm shout I didn't have to go run and find dawnbreaker. I do like that spellbreaker +dawnbreaker = dragon priest schmagon priest.

For a character that doesn't have Smithing Perks, I find that the Mace of Molag Bal + Spellbreaker is the best combination, at least that's what my char finds best :D

I find the discussion of its usefullness a bit odd... it may be a kind of a game changer early on... but as you level up... nay... not to mention its desing... I am pretty sure someone has already mentioned it, but still... it is like wandering a medivial realm with a satelite antena attached to your body...

I picked it up a few nights back. It's actually convinced me to level up blocking and shield wielding. I've been a two handed warrior since day one too lol

I didn't get to find out, I made them do it to each other.

That place is kinda a pain in the neck to loot, I put no points in stamina and it has got to be one of the biggest dungeons I've been through.

Most of the Dwemer ruins are of a massive scale. It doesn't help that I play stealthily often, creeping around with the bow, switching to the sword when/if discovered. Think the quickest I've made it through any of the Dwemer ruins I've come across has been an hour lol.
