Is there anything to shoot?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 9:28 am

So, I wandered around the mojave, finished most of the quests and did the DLC to get the good armor, etc. . . and now I can't find much to shoot. I was hoping to level up, get good weapons, and walk around sniping people from the tops of mountains. But it seems they don't respawn?

Am I missing something, or is that pretty much end game?

If you've done all quests, yep time to start over. This game isn't about shooting stuff.

The Fiends territory is practically the only place to get a good fight after everything is done.

I have noticed that this game has little action besides quests.

Yeah, this game is all about quests. There's very few non- quest related locations worth going to. And even less non- quest related locations with enemies that can put up a fight.

Like i keep on saying, a strange game. Plenty of guns, mods and ammo for them, but nothing to shoot with them

But also seeing how they handled enemy spawning in Old World Blues that may be a good thing :lmao:

yes, you're in the end of game

after you finished many quest, including the quests that has shooting rave party, there's nothing much shooting to do here

after clearing quarry junction quest, there's no more deathclaws there

after kill fiends leader quest, there's more fiends to shoot at. even there was they're spawned near NCR patrols

what's the leftovers are

caesar troops (or whatever the faction you fought)
cazadors (pretty challenging)
giant mantis (meh)
passive hostile bighorns (meh)
radscorpions (pretty good fight)
geckos (lulz)

not mention there's almost no single encounter on the 'safe' road

yeah this game gets boring after killing related quest are done

Hunt down all deathclaws, and super-mutants.

Then turn it off and wait for Lonesome road, that is what I have done, beat it enough already where it is beginning to get broing really fast.

this. Its so dreadfully boring, unlike fallout 3 where the continuing spawn rates and fun random moments, plus the fact is even though you explored the entire area, you would still explore it, again! just for the giggles I suppose lol

Yep, I just don't find myself exploring random stuff like I did in fallout 3.
Supposily skyrim is supposed to be huge. Can't wait for new lands to explore.

Note:Dead money and honest hearts spoler. I did the same thing I have beatin the game about 6 times and it just keeps get more and more boring they just did'nt leave much to do after all the quest like F3 did and there are'nt any random enconter on the roads and there are not realy any places worth goin to you ca'nt go back to dead money and honest hearts had very few enemys to fight after it was over and once you get to the max level there no new perks to get so I would ether wait or start a new game while your waiting

That's a shame. I still have a few characters to make and DLC's to beat with some characters, well one really. Then again this isn't only game I play and I don't play as often as some here so that may be the reason.

Anyways, fiend territory and black mountain. That's about it for good spots really
