I see your point, but I found the whole game very confusing. On top of that I also felt stressed at what I would be missing by siding with mr house against all the others. I do like choices, but for my taste nv put too much choice my way and it kind of made me realise to see it all would take longer than I have to play it. I also felt the convoluted story Detached me from the companions and I generally lost interest after one playthrough. Fallout 3 was perfect for me.
Fair enough. I personally loved how the companions reacted to your choices and how they would leave you, or even turn on you, depending on who you sided with. They also all had fantastic backstories with quests related to them which I enjoyed. You would have to play through the game minimum 4 times to see the different MQ endings but that doesn't even take into account all the combinations of companions, cities and secondary factions that you can influence differently as well. I personally thought it is was brilliant.
