Boomers. Kill or Help? : Fallout: New Vegas

So I'm at a part at Mr. House's quest line where I can either kill the Boomers or help them. What should I do?

Help, of course.

Why would you kill them? They post no threat to House, and they help you at Hoover Dam.

I've killed them once, but there's no benefit for doing so. From storyline to practical reasons it is better to help them.

When i did kill them that was RP reasons; "Mr. House, do not send an assassin to do a diplomat's job."

Help them. They have the arsenal to invade other settlements, yet they have not. This means they are a peaceful community worth preserving.

Am I the only one that heard Pete talk about the Boomer's dream and think "wtf these guys are psycho?"

The Boomers and the Great Khans are both somewhat deceiving, seeming as though they're bad but actually doing quite a bit of good.

I agree, WE WANT TO BLOW UP SAVAGES!

But help them, it is pretty cool at the end seeing their role, even thought it helps you little, but still cool. Also you can trade for some of their explosives once voltare is complete.

To my frst comment, at least they say they open up a little in the end slides

Well to be honest its not gonna make that big of a difference on the story one way or the other, so its really just personal preference as to whether you kill them or not.

They have bio-fuel manufacturing plant at Nellis. look for the barracks with big tanks outside.

They're most likely going to slaughter you considering they have GMG's, grenade rifles and launchers, missle launchers, and one by the greenhouses has a Fat Man.
