Game breaking problem. Guards massacre entire towns. : V

Every town I enter the citizens attack me and the guards kill the entire town!!! All 9 holds do this. I can't do any quests or anything. Help??? :unsure:

For clarification I'm level 43, have beaten the entire main quest and am playing on 360. Don't know if any of these variables could matter. Anyone ever heard of anything like this??

1. What platform are you on?

2. Have you tried shutting down said platform and re-booting?

YES! I just contracted it! Any way to solve this? I guess if I cured my vampirism it would go away? Oh my god thank you

Yes it would or you can feed and drop yourself down to the first tier vampire.....then no hate from the people.

Well, I know I seemed overly freaked, but I'm just blown away at the guards killing entire towns of citizens. People I needed for quests and everything. I understand people attacking me for vampirism but that just seems extreme and damaging to the game.

When I turned into a werewolf in Whiterun for the first time all the guards went ape[censored] and focused their rage on a fruit vendor, meat vendor, and the Cloud District guy. Felt pretty bad for the daughter of the fruit vendor and the brother of the meat vendor.

I think what you mean by guards kill civilians is the companions guild who you have joined are protecting you from the guards.

I get where Bethesda was going with this -- gain monstrous powers, be rejected by society.

Where they ended up though -- gain monstrous powers, watch suddenly totalitarian state exterminate its citizenry... I'm imagining fanged player characters everywhere standing at the town gates with a big ?! over their heads watching the mayhem, feeling irrelevant...

Cloud District guy? Nazeem? NAZEEEEEM! He's the character in the game I hate the most. The entire game could be killing Nazeem over and over again.
