Looking for 1-2 Modders for a town

Ok, so i am making a town. The layout is of this modders resource: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7104 . As it describes, the town is a small island with lots of houses and shops. I am new to modding, but I know how to do a few things.

I dont really think i will be able to finish it on my own at the rate i am going. If you are interested in helping me, send me an email @ brandon-555@hotmail.com. I will give you a lot more details about the mod.

Things i/we have to do:
Make the interiors of ALOT of shacks.
Make NPCs
Make Transportation to the island.
Make Dialogue for this island.
Make quests
Perfect the exterior
and do a good job.



P.S. I will give credit to you, and we will release it on planet elder scrolls and maybe other sites.

Hmmm, I'll download this and see what I can do with the Shacks and NPC's.
EDIT: Uh-oh, it looks the ESP contains some Dirty GMST's.

Why do you ask for help to finish your town mod ? I think you are doing great to accomplish something. Now I speak for my self, yes I've tried to make any thing, but I put it a side for while until I will do another attempt. So don't give up, because it's much better for you self to move forward in your pace. Later you can get stuck then, but only then you can ask for help.

Interesting program, but I've already cleaned the ESP. I was just alerting the OP about this. One thing I'm worried about though are potential conflicts with Tamriel Rebuilt.

It's so easy to use don't you think. I think it's a good idea to check the location in this early stage, maybe relocate the town mod.

Moving an entire settlement is something beyond my abilities, unfortunately. I'll load it up on my Main Game and see if any problems arise.

EDIT: Unfortunately, this mod does conflict with Tamriel Rebuilt. Pretty badly I might add, as the town in pretty much underneath a cliff added my TR. The entire settlement needs to be relocated, which is something I can't do. Shame, since I had already made around 7 NPCs, and one Interior Cell.

EDIT-2: For anyone willing to move Long Isle, could you please use this ESP? It contains all the references I added (NPCs, cells, etc):

No i mean, find a suitable place before you add too many interiors because depending on the program you use it doesnt always move door markers.

Uh, sorry to kind of jump in out of nowhere, but what program do you use to move the entire landmass? I am in need of one for a mod I am working on, just in case it conflicts with another landmass.

Um... really? You just right click on it and click rename... make sure you don't delete ".esp" though

Uh, sorry to kind of jump in out of nowhere, but what program do you use to move the entire landmass? I am in need of one for a mod I am working on, just in case it conflicts with another landmass.

I use tesfaith, i use version 0.96 though, not the GUI version. The GUI version never really made any sense to me, although I do use the GUI version for cleaning out randomly edited exteriors, and its good for comparing landmass mods to see which affect each the same cells

Last time I did that, it created another copy of the ESP :blink: It happened right now. Nvm anyway, I got it figured out.

Anyway, i got 2 emails from 2 people. I will send emails to you guys giving you more info. And we can get started properly. I did notice you guys found out it is incompatible with TR. We will move the island to a good spot.

Anyway, i will email the 2 ppl that sent me one.

Umm... I don't know if you noticed this, but i already took the liberty of moving the island to the east so it doesn't conflict with TR or any landmass mods I know about.

The problem is: I already changed the exterior (a bit). But only a little bit, and i only did 1 interior.

Thanks for moving it anyway, no need for us to do it now.

[EDIT] Zomg, i load it up and it keeps saying it is missing that menhir object lol

And i have no idea why any objects would be missing, probably worth cleaning the mod and then sending me it.

Not necessarily for Tamriel Rebuilt, but for many of the original landmass locations out there, there is a utility called MMGUM that may be useful to modders to point out what mods use what exterior cells so they can avoid conflicts at the very outset. Okay, me and Vaon are still working on this mod, but we'd like to have atleast one more person to help us. There's alot of shacks for just two rookie modders, and we could use the help :)
