Vigilant of Stendar

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 11:03 pm

I was just wondering if I am alone in thinking these characters are a prelude to a DLC?

Reasons:

1. Most people will have high level characters by the time a DLC comes out. Since Vigilant of Stendar fights Daedra I can imagine those monsters being up to the challenge.
2. Easy DLC to addon since any oblivion plane would be off the map.
3. They have multiple bases, and are involved in many "random encounters" on the roads, but are not a joinable or interactable faction.

Thoughts?

I think that would be awesome. The only thing I have been able to do with them is get them to heal me and found a few dead ones.

without people conjuring up creatures from oblivion this cant happen. at the end of oblivion the bridge allowing physical transition between thier plane and the mortal realm was severd. great idea though.

Hope a BGS developer doesn't see this thread; unless they are already working on this.

They should have been a joinable faction in the vanilla game, IMHO.

The only thing that leads me to believe that they are not part of the DLC is the Daedric Quests that are in the base game. I would think they would be more involved in those at some level.

However, I would not put it past Bethesda to base a DLC on the faction.

ive been living under the assumption that they were a believable convenient catch-all excuse
for why there isnt as many daedra around and why the daedra Princes dont all have altars.

Nothing similar to the Knights of the Nine(Eight)

If its going to be in one of the planes it should be like the shivering Isles in a way

I believe they will deffinately try something new.
