Assuming your character has to wear everything at once, including motors and battery packs for miniguns and MGLs, what do you take for an extended day in the Wastes?

You must be able to carry everything at once. (As it will appear on your character all at once.)

You must have food and water, or a way to gather it

Ammo has weight and takes up space!

You can have followers, but they carry their own gear and vise versa

Consider how heavy your armor will be and how much it will encumber you.

Consider how hot your armor will get while wearing it in the day.

Must be able to survive for 3-5 days.

For my gear I would be taking Desert Ranger armor( the coat has pockets) A backpack for storing stuff I come across as well as my food and water.

My weapons would be the Survivalist's Rifle and a 12.7mm pistol. (They share ammo, allowing me to cut down on weight and save room).
4 magazines of ammo for the rifle on my belt and 1 in the gun, as well as 8 magazines of ammo for the pistol. (Two magazines can fit into the same magazine pouch)

In my backpack would be a first aid kit as well as 3 caravan lunches, 6 bottles of water, and some cans of Pork 'n Beans.

You don't know who shot you and you are on your own, the second after you walk out that door in Goodsprings.
Food and water? Then you're an hardcoe Survivalist, aren't you?
It's going to be a long trip... And you started it the worst place.
