What happened to all the vote for Skyrim GOTY threads? : V

Topic says it all, used to see multiple "vote for Skyrim GOTY" threads every day and have not seen any in a while, is the voting over? Thanks.

I believe there is only one highly visable GOTY (the G4 one) that is based on voting, and it has finished. The others are decided internally by the organisation/magazine/website awarding them.

the polls are done at least the one from last week is that AC won and GOTY means absolutely nothing these days if it did well then Times Magazines hates Skyrim xD

It lost. All the bugs finally got to the voters and they couldn't compell themselves to let it win, looks like there can be no goty editions of skyrim this time :S

It lost. All the bugs finally got to the voters and they couldn't compell themselves to let it win, looks like there can be no goty editions of skyrim this time :S

There still dozens of GOTY awards to be handed out.

GOTY has not been decided yet, we will have to watch in 2 days (12/10/11)

It's most likely going to be skyrim, the only real competition is Skyward sword, but skyrim is much more popular.. Skyrim has sold over 5 million copies compared to skywards under 1 million

I have hardly run into any bugs in skyrim. Everyone that voted for SS are gay nerdy zelda lovers.

honestly I hate zelda but before I played RPG's i thought all of them where nerdy and before I played TES i thought it was extremely nerdy.
I hope Zelda wins GOTY only because Skyrim is to laggy for me to play for more than 20 minutes

Skyward sword fans are huge cheaters though. Tons of them were using temp emails in the G4 voting, and organizing cheat-a-thons on fansites so they could get back at all the "Nintendo bashers".

I'm sure Zelda is a fine game, but no one has to put up with Zelda stuffing the ballot box, spending their entire days making fake emails.

Actually, they didn't win because they made multiple accounts.
They won because PS3 users that bought Skyrim, and unsatisfied costumers thought that it wouldn't be fair.

The score was really close, 49% to 51%...
If we had the entire community against Zelda, we would have won.
But some part of our own community was against Skyrim...

BTW! I think Skyrim SHOULD win best soundtrack (not sound design, that goes for Battlefield 3)...

Just checked the website and found DA2 in the RPG section, but not The Witcher 2. I lol'ed.
