As the topic says. Give some tips on a 2h only heavy armor char. To beat the bandits and scum of skyrim into submission

Use heavy armor and a 2 handed weapon? I don't understand what you want from us.

Use Steed to increase your mobility, then dodge or bash rather block in order to mitigate damage. Use Shouts such as Fire Breath and Unrelenting Force to help keep enemies at bay. Use Alteration spells like Oakskin and the like to increase Magicka Resistance. This will also give access to Alteration perks that provide passive MR, as otherwise you'll suffer against mages.

Works for me.

Go Orc. It's what my 4th character is now - a Shadow Knight so to speak. I don't use companions, but if I need some help, I conjur up a demora lord or 2 or thralls. Basically go full 2H, Smithing, Ench., Heavy Armor, and Conjuration. Use either the Steed or Lord stone.

I wouldn't ignore the Block perks. Since you will only be able to wield your chosen weapon, the only other thing you can do (without having to change equipment) is block. At the very least, I'd get the perk that slows down time when blocking a power attack. I also think the first perk (which has five ranks) is applied to non-shield blocks.

I'd recommend even though you're a 2H, get your block up to at least 30 and get the Quick Reflexes perk. Helped me out of a lot of tough situations on my 2H. I invested a bit in stamina, so I could use that deadly power attack more often as well.

So what block perks help with weapon blocks?

Bump it up
