Do you feel like a Dragonborn?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 4:25 pm

I don't know about you guys but I honestly don't, I always save my Shouts for "OH [censored]!" moments or when I mess around and now that my character is getting stronger I mostly forget to use said shouts. I think that SOME shouts like Fire Breath should have a lower cooldown and it wouldn't hurt that shouts like Fire Breath and Frost Breath should've been given a better animations, they look so lame compared when Dragons shout haha.

Not really. I haven't gotten anywhere on the main quest. Having Dragon's blood is for the kiddies IMO.

considering i open up every fight with dragon shouts, and i fight kill and steal the souls of dragons, ya i feel like a dragonborn. Also the shouts have long enough cool down, and fire breath really isn't that great unless your fighting multiple enemies

Not really. I guess the dragonborn part is a little too corny for my taste. I just don't feel any excitement over all this dragon stuff.

I don't feel too Dragonborny, considering i'm the only person that can defeat Dragons or Alduin? I want people to be bowing down, offering me to live with them, marry them. I want 300 people queuing outside my house when I wake up in a morning. I want Fans :((

Seriously, It's nothing special IMHO. It could be better..

Nope, considering I rarely stepped back in to the main quest and avoid dragons as much as possible LOL, still a warrior in training!

Yes, but my Dragonborn, not theirs, which shows in my constant use of the animal control and calm shouts. Certainly will never have the guy from the trailer shouting fus roh da everywhere and wearing horned helmets.

The only time I felt like a dovakiin(secretly the dragon word for boss) was after putting up the main quest. The only reason I did not slaughter half of the people in the main quest was because they were marked essential. After putting up with that, I felt like a dovakiin.

Not really getting the Dragonborn vibe either. I try to use the shouts for important situations only, and then I do sometimes go: "YIR BEAAAATCH, who's your Dovahkiin!"

I honestly just keep forgetting I have them. On my main character, I have about 7 I can use, and just never do.

I did when entering the final area of the main quest and during the...

peace treaty, where either side does what you want because everyone knows only you can save 'em all. Finally felt recognized as being the only hope lol.

Never combat wise though, they're just too similar to magic in my opinion. Doesn't really have any "wow, only I can do that!" vibe imo.

I usually forget about the whole Dragonborn business.
There is tons of NPC′s that can shout, its just Magic on a timer and if you dont kill a Dragon, usually someone else does.
Iam doing the Mainquest with my new character though, there it gets a bit more Dragonbornish.

Like in Oblivions MainQuest I really dont feel like a hero after all, just like a well known and rich adventurer who has access to some houses in cities due to his work.
