Riften house - Honeyside.

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 5:44 am

I heard thieves break in, like they do all over the place in Riften, but they won't actually take anything without me being there to kill them right? Tempted to move over to honeyside, but if things go missing, would annoy me.

Never had a problem with a thief in my house. I've seen tens of thieves in Riften, but they're always running around at random and dying, until I chuck them in the river once the guard have had their way with them. Never seen a thief in a dwelling, much less MY dwelling.

I'd never heard this.

But then I try not to use Honeyside too much, its one of the most explosive houses I have, some days I'm scared to drop a sweetroll on a table.

Ah okay good, I will probably move there so I can have an enchanting table. Thanks.

Every house except Whiterun gives you an enchanting table. Personally I prefer the house in Windhelm; it has more storage, mannequins, weapons racks, bookshelves and so on than any of the others.

I don't know about player owned houses, but i've seen thieves run into dwellings in Riften to escape gaurds.

Never once happened to me. My housecarl would bust them in the mouth anyway.

I make sure that every thief in Riften gets some happy time with Sapphire.

She loves it. :celebration: :celebration:

I'm on my second playthrough (the first was cut short due to my monkeying around with the game's Prefs.ini ...) and my first city/settlement this time through is Riften. I hadn't been here on the first playthrough. Looking forward to it.

How much does the place cost?

AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH ... or 'burgled'.

Im the guildmaster. If they break into my home, there's going to be a problem, and maby a few fines, and other forms of "punishment". I wish you could have the "protected"shadow mark on your door.Would be more realistic.

But any who, what I said above was just for fun. To my knowledge, the only time any random npcs will enter your home is if you pass them, and they say something, and they dont finish what they are saying, they will come in and finish thier phrase, and leave.
