Hi

I haven't been able to figure out how to recharge my enchanted weapons.

I have dozens of filled Soul Gems, and I see that it says to press the "T" button.

I select the item in the inventory and press "T" and nothing happens.
I must be missing something but I don't know what?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Im afraid I dont know pc controls but it cant be too dissimilar from xbox.
It sounded like you were trying to recharge by selecting the soulgem?
You will need to select the weapon you want to recharge in the inventory screen and then click the recharge button.
A menu will pop up with your available filled soulgems and you can choose from those.

The gems need to be filled. Search the forum for Soul Trap and you should find some instructions.

when you press T, to the right, a window will open asking what size gem you want to use to recharge the weapon. you cannot use the mouse to scroll up and down the list you have to use W and S. once you find the size gem you want, click on it and voila.

Not so sound condescending but are you looking in the right place? Personally I didn't see the soul gem list the first time I tried to recharge, I assumed it would pop up in the center some where.

edit: I have a UI mod but it should still appear in the same place for the original UI.

thanks for the information, I'll get in the game and check it out right now, I may have not seen the part where is asks about the gem.
I thought that when I pushed the button the screen would do something and it would just recharge.

Hi again.

I went into the game and opened my inventory selected an Ax of Burning which is mostly uncharged and hit the "T" key.
The Ax is open in the window on the right side of the screen, but nothing happens.

I don't know what to do, this is kind of a drag trying to find new weapons all the time because I can't recharge the ones I have.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Are you sure you have filled soul gems actually in your inventory? If so then a list of them should pop up so that you can select the one to use to refill with.

Strange, and you have the filled soulgems in your inventory as well?

Once you hit T you should get another box of all the soul gems so you scroll through each one and select If you are not seeing a gem, means you don't have any in inventory that are "FILLED", in other words all the present gems in your inventory are empty so you will need to get a weapon or spell that collects souls

Yes, for example, a soul gem will show up as: Common soul gem (common), the part between the ( ) shows which kind of soul is filling the soul gem. If it sais (empty) the gem isn't filled.

If you indeed have filled soul gems in your inventory, and it's still not working, then I suppose you're probably are experiencing some kind of bug.

Hi

I went back into the game and reset all the controls to default and it started working.
I don't know how it got changed it was still the key for Shouts and that worked OK but anyway it is working now.

Small world.

Back when I used to hang out on the Tomb Raider boards all the time, I used my other nom de plume MikeHawthorne.

I named a character MikeHawthorne in Everquest 2, and while in the game another players character walked up to mine and asked, "Are you the MikeHawthorne from the Tomb Raider Forums?"
I really thought that was funny at the time.

Back to the main subject, I have it all working now but I have to go in and change the controls back to default every half hour or so.
It keeps switching the "T" and "Z" keys.

I wonder if I'm hitting some key combination somehow that's causing it to change.

Anyone have any ideas?
