What can't you kill or marry anybody?

IMO Beth really should have gone the extra mile and let marriage spread to every NPC, and murder, cause invincible NPCs are [censored] and break the immersion. I don't like sneaking up on an Imperial camp, slaughtering every one of them only for one bastard to hobble around on his knees, get up after a few seconds and continue fighting me. At least knock him unconscious. They should have kept the system from other Beth games where if you kill a quest-important NPC you get a message x or x quest failed, which is way less intrusive. For a company that purports to care about the suspension of disbelief, they need to look at this stuff.

If you asked everyone, in the real world, to marry you, would they all say yes?

This isn't relevant.

Everyone at once (as opposed to anyone)? Now there's an idea. . . I don't like polygamy though.

Not to be a buzzkill, but some NPCs are already married.

*flashes on Blackadder* "Shut up, you stupid peasant! I'm only trying to marry your wife!"

I think it is. It seems more of an immersion breaker that every single person is available for marriage rather than a select few.

Edit: I agree with the essential NPC thing, though. All NPCs should be killable.
