So, I just don't see the attraction to this armor. I did everything needed and made myself a set on my Nord, but I don't get why everyone loves it so much. It's probably just me but I like the steel armor look better. On a side note, can you actually make Skyforged Steel weapons or do you just buy them and upgrade them?

u can make the weapons in the skyforged steel forge

The ancient nord armor is pretty b.a. Imo but to each and after a certain questline in whiterun given that you are a smith you can make them i think or that may just be nord hero weapons

I quite like the Ancient Nord Armour, it suits my Nord Battlemaster quite well, especial when I have my signature weapons Vigruuf and Kojak.

Yea you can only make that at the Dragon forge. Look under the dadric Armor and it will be listed there.

you can get it without doing the companions questline. one of burrows that housesthe word wall for Stormcall is full of ghosts that where the armour and yes you an loot it. Personally i want a full set of the Draugr Deathlord armour...that stuff is freaking awesome.
