Teh NPCs Q

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 12:35 pm

I have a few questions about NPCs,
1.Are there any "Traveling NPCs" that travel from city to city like in oblivion (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Traveling_People) ?
2.a)Do npcs ever eat something so that item disappears
b)Do they ever drink potions and effect from that potions?
3.Do they have unlimited stamina and magicka. If they do, is that a bug or not?
4.Can npcs get over encumbered ?

I am asking this cuz I didnt experienced any of this during my gameplay

1. Yes. many.
2. a ) Not sure if they actually pick items from the table, or just pull it out their pocket... but yes they eat food.
2. b ) yes
3. No, they can run out of Stamina and Magicka. You can drain/damage their stam/magic also.
4. Yes... I think so. (not confirmed)

Well, I can answer 1 and 3 for sure - yes there are several npc's that travel the map, you can find them at different places at different times. And they definitely have stamina and magicka, because one of my strategies for fighting Hagravens at low level has always been to kite them till they run out of mana, then melee them :P

You can actually watch an NPC travel on your map if you have a quest assigned to go to them. Happened to me on a companion quest.

There are a lot, I mean, a LOT more friendly NPCs on the roads, It's one of the coolest things of TES V compared to TES IV, If you ask me.
