Skyrim and Continuity....

How come most of the actions a player takes seems to not reflect in the skyrim world?....

I don't mean every insignificant thing...but something major like killing that major NPC during the imperial quests....the rest of Skyrim still refer to the pre killing times....and don't even acknowledge the deed.... :spotted owl:

really kills the immersion in a BIG way...the rest can be ignored as an oversight...but i can't seem to come to grabs with this....

Still in my first play through though...so maybe its some action i may or may not have taken...but can i get a verification if this is a thing with skyrim...because if it is...i seriously need a refund....because only the most base FPSs ignore such change...and this is supposed to be a leading RPG title...makes no sense.... :banghead:

Umm people always greet me by saying things like, if I wasn't on guard duty I would have gone into their sanctuary and killed them myself. Referring to me slaying the Dark Brotherhood. I have people make remarks about my alignment in the war as well.

Let me guess the guards? They seem to be the only NPCs that do have some acknowledgment....but it just isn't enough when other major NPCs....who have actual dialog options have the same banter seemingly through out the game....

with the except of a few.....

You're not playing Skyrim Imagination, that's why. You have to "imagine" it.

I really think it’s a bug, I get complements on my two handed weapon skills and I haven’t used a two handed weapon for that character at all. Guards usually respond to your actions, but they never stop using a triggered dialog when it is no longer relevant which is really immersion breaking. I can’t wait for a mod to fix that or just to get them to shut up.

A more annoying bug is random people talking in during dialog which makes it very hard to listen and have two irreverent dialogs at once.

"You're Brynjolf's new protege."

"For the last time barkeep, I'm the Guildmaster."

"You don't look like much."

/facepalm
