I was wandering the ice fields north of Winterhold when I saw a dragon circling the College. I fast travel to the town, hoping to stop the dragon before it can do any damage. I arrive in town to see a blood dragon swoop in from the College. I get a Shout off on it just as an Elder Dragon comes roaring over the mountains. I wasn't that concerned because I had heard dragons will only fight you sequentially, never simultaneously.

Apparently these two dragons hadn't heard about that rule. One would strafe the area with ice while the other circled around for another pass. They took turns like that for a while, never letting me have a moment's rest. Occasionally, they would both perch on either side of the main street through Winterhold and frost blast simultaneously. I'd rank it as my favorite and most challenging dragon fight so far.

Has anyone else had a fight with multiple dragons (like I said, I didn't even think it was possible until it happened to me), and if so, what's the maximum number of dragons anyone has had in a fight?

i was watching my dad play (hes totally hogging the game) and he was in riverwood
when a regular and a frost dragon both appeared it ended a little too quickly
for me to get a play by play but suffice to say Sven is dead.
