The Elder Scrolls V: Imperial City

Bethesda should make a mournhold type dlc where you are sent to the imperial city and have a main story and side quests within the city. Or even a different big city but I don't really know of many others and I hate vivic lol. Thoughts, suggestions or ideas?

I wouildn't mind an Imperial City that is larger and better. The Oblivion one felt kind of small. THe only thing that comes to my mind about the IC is the image of the White-Gold Tower, which can be seen far away.

I posted this suggestion in another thread about DLC-

The Royal Job:

Compete with the Gray Fox to steal a legendary treasure in the heart of the Empire, the Imperial City.

This would adress the major gripe with cities, they don't feel like cities at all, more like villages and the villages like ... the next lower thing, whatever it's called.^^

Especially since they are their own cells I don't see why they have to be that limited.

You mean the entire map of Tamerial, Tamerial in the continent, Nirn is the entire planet and we know of other Continents which are never seen. I didn't realize they generated that much of the worldmap tho, I wonder if Cyrodiil still matches up to oblivion and Marrowind to Marrowind, etc.

This said most of the cities in TES are scaled down because of hardware limitations of the games consoles, as such I don't think we will get to see an IC bigger then the one in Oblivion :(. Come the next generation of consoles, the next TES game will almost certainly have larger cities since I can't see the next Playstation of X-Box shipping with anything less then 4 GB of RAM.

I'm pretty sure the Imperial City in Oblivion was bigger than any city in Skyrim.

Maybe. I don't know. I wasn't that deep into Oblivion. Did the main campaign, did Shivering Isles. Passing references about Gray Fox being a master thief made me think that he'd be good competition for the player character.

What else could you do in a city that would last any good amount of time? Unless you were dungeon crawling beneath the city or something.

What console commands do I input to be able to walk across Tamriel past Skyrim's boundaries?

I never liked the imperial city in OB; it was too repetitive. That said, the concept of an imperial city could certainly be revamped and made into something awesome.

A trip to one of the other continents would be awesome. From what I've read, it must be very different there from Tamriel.

NO! No Imperial City for me. Been there done that, don't want to see it again. Each TES game is suppose to be it's own game, so we don't need no Morrowind or Oblivion areas again. If we going to have another type Mournhold, let it be somewhere else. I would actually like another Bloodmoon type, open area instead of closed city.

If it has to be a city, then something really different. Maybe an underwater city for Argonians. I would say the city for the Khajits, because I think their cities or homes are in trees. (please correct me if I am wrong and what race has thier cities in the trees then?) Since we don't have insane jumping like in Oblivion, that would be out, so would love a Blackmarsh feel to it and an awsome underwater city that I have been looking forward for ages. Maybe the one mentioned in Morrowind would be awsome lol.
