Are the Courier and the Grey Warden kindred spirits?

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 7:13 pm

Think about it. Both of them are on an epic quest after being saved from pretty much certain death. The Courier gets shot in the head. Depending on the Grey Warden's origins, he's banished/about to be executed/going to Disney World, et cetera. Both of them have to ingratiate themselves to other disparate factions on The Map by doing grunt work that their own forces should be able to do and yet seem completely incapable of doing without outside mercenary help. Both gather a freaking army to achieve an important goal (killing the Huge Dragon Boss, owning Hoover Dam). I was just considering this. Any thoughts?
