Vilkas follows me around and initiates conversation : V

So, Vilkas follows me around and initiates conversation, repeatedly. I am in the middle of the Companion quest line and at some point Vilkas started following me around, he wields his greatsword and opens the dialogue menu of his own accord. I can't seem to get him to stop doing this. It makes doing anything in Whiterun very difficult. He will continuously interrupt what I am doing and initiate conversation. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have a suggestion to make him stop. I don't want to permanently disable him as I want to be able to do the Companion quests. Thanks.

Just tell him his story was cool, maybe call him a bro. A little validation might be all he needs.

I had the same problem with Farkas. So annoying.
