Horrendous. You can still tell it's the same actor, but he changes the heaviness and way he talks the speech from one line of text to the other. It's extremely evident and poorly done. Did you only have 30 seconds to do it or something? Horrible inconsistency.

It bothers me how he could sound completely differently in one line of text next to the other.

I actually figured it was someone else doing an impression of him to add some lines later. To me, it does not seem like the same person.
Edit: But I got flamed when I said that.

Another reason why text dialogue is better than voiced.

He has no voice acting in my game, I haven't updated it yet, I guess he needs to learn the way of the voice

I was actually disappointed with Max's performance as Esbern. I liked some of his lines but in other areas he was just flat.


For the most part I agree.

The voice acting was recorded in multiple sessions. He recorded his voice differently in one session. Unfortunately, Bethesda wasn't able to catch it in time.

I actually like the Dremora voice acting, makes me lol.

It was obviously another voice actor doing impressions of his voice for lines they didn't record, and anyone criticizing this actor needs their head examined.
