We are not alone-Weird noises

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 11:41 pm

Ok so i am walking by El Dorado and im on 360 so no mods are active and i have no radio on.

I hear strange banging, glass breaking, doors opening, people screaming, dogs barking and strange noises

Click Here and watch the video.

Information: Im the only one awake so all noises are in game.

The quality is rubbish.

EDIT: i stuck headphones in and turned volume at the top and i thought i heard a car driving by then i could swear i heard 2 men talking and then a girl shouting "No stop, please! somebody help me !

And also a noise that i have been trying to figure out for a while is a young women(like they jersey shore people) saying " so you buying any ciggerettes?" or something like that.

Do you have a history of mental instability and/or recreational use of acid?

Haha just kidding. Sounds interesting though. Reminds me of the eerie sounds around graveyards in NV, or the roulette sounds in one part of the Lucky 38 casino floor. Woo, spirits of the past are haunting the roulette tables.

Sounds quite far fetched to me but if what you say is true then the developers just added the noises to boost up the feeling.

It's the ambience from free side mixed in with a little of ambience from open desert. It happens a lot to me. I'll be somewhere else and I'll here different ambience from another location.

Yeah the Freeside background noise sticks a lot.

Save and Reload should fix it.

Once got Van Graffs ambient playing everywhere I went.

If you want real weird noises, visit Camp Forlorn Hope graveyard.

That sounds pretty cool. Allthough potentially scary if you're playing late at night.
Is your equipment picking up interference from say, radios or mobile phone signals or anything?
My subwoofer used to pick up snatches of police transmissions on occaision, it was cool when playing techno or whatever, but an utter mood killer when playing sixy jazz and trying to get laid.

Have you checked the connections on the wires from your console to TV? Sometimes the connections can get dirty or just worn with age, I've some friends who used to be able to hear very faint TV sounds whilst gaming, and that problem seemed to go away when they replaced the cables.

By the way, does anyone else get hit by that awfull "WURHFGBERWBEGBWGWgbGWB" noise on their systems when a mobile phone goes off?

Yes! All the time, even when my phone is just sitting there.

The scary time is when you hear that noise come in, and realize you don't even have your phone with you. :bolt:

That noise that speakers make near a phone is the microwaves coming off the phone
