Sword, mostly for style. I like the look of them and their finishers better than axes or hammers.

My Daedric Greatsword is my number one go to weapon in the game... its also the best looking weapon in the game, lol.

Sword. Mainly for the the look of it and the finishers =) Personally play as an assasin with maxed sneak/archery...not a typical barbarian. However,am close to maxing two handed swords now and its quite nice to be able to do some toe to toe damage in a fight with a huge blade. In terms of gameplay it feels like an Assassin-Blade Master,im not entirely stuck in the shadows =)

i use all three:

Axe is what i open up the battle with which has a slight fire enchantment to add to the DOT. When my warrior's stanima is low i go to my hammer.

Hammer is against armored enemies plus i get stanima from each hit (50 points)

Sword is what i go to when my health is low. I have a small absorb health enchantment to me me in the fight a bit longer.

I've put around 250 hours in the game so far and i'm currently loving my two handed Orc. I have all my perks in twohanded, blacksmith and heavy armor. I've spent over 60 hours with my Orc. The only thing i've done with him was complete the civil war questine and a few misc ones. My Orc is in a mid life crisis. After the war was over he pretty much got told to get lost by the Imperial Army. He's only having a few fun fights in dungeons but hes getting boared.

Otherwords, i'm thinking about starting a new charactor cause the civil war battles were just so good that everything else for this play style just doesnt seem right. It would be like being in Spec Ops for the military then being a full time security guard at the mall.

Warhammer.

I went from being a stealthy thief relying on bow and arrow to light armored glass god swinging a big elven warhammer.

Every once in a while I get a bandit mob in a hallway and swinging that thing is just pure comedy.

Axe, currently flawless elven.

I assumed I'd be sword and light armor but was taken in by the heavy gear's ratings. Didn't think of their cost, ha ha. I just didn't want to get my butt kicked.

I started with a greatsword but switched to a higher rated axe and have gone from there.
