Happy One Month Anniversary, Skyrim!

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 10:43 pm

Well, it's been a great first month for Skyrim. A buttload of copies sold, millions of people loving the game, it's garnered critical acclaim across the board, and, most recently, GotY!

How are you guys gonna celebrate today? I, for one, am gonna whip out the chocolate pretzels and soy milk and play until either my Xbox explodes. :')

Great job, Bethesda. You guys earned that go-tee!

lmfao, Relax, dude. Some people are just happy at the game's success. This thread isn't going to overload the servers or anything, just showing some enthusiasm for one of my favorite games. (:

Because endless / baseless whining threads are any better.

Very strong logic.

This game used to be successful, until it took an arrow in the sales.

JK... Happy 1 month anniversary, and the many more months of play time to go! :D

I was just discussing this with my friend, it feels like it's been two weeks or something! I think Bethesda removed Mysticism from the game to embed it into the disc.. no way a month can pass by this quickly by normal means.

Broke 90 hours today - haven't gone to Windhelm, Winterhold, or Riften yet (aka the whole Eastern side of the map). Hardly started the main quest (at some Jurgen Windcaller quest) or the Companions (need to assassinate someone) andddddd yeah.. I finally completed 10 side quests. LOL

Bethesda sure knows how to make a game where doing so much can feel like you haven't even put a dent in it.

Love the game, don't get me wrong - but I'll celebrate when they've patched it and released the Creation Kit.

125 hours in so far, and planning to put in a WHOLE lot more for this one-month anniversary. Part of me wants to actually get [censored] done.. but I kinda just wanna keep collecting flowers and killing dragons and stealing from giants for another couple hundred hours.

One month? But I still haven't completed any of the guild questlines, or the main questine, or the rebellion questline, or seen half the cities yet!

I'm gonna go jump off the bridge and ride the rapids, catch some salmon, go over the falls, get out and dry off and go catch some butterflies; then go back up and jump off the bridge again...
...and do it over and over again until the moths come out.
To me that's worth the entire price of admission.... Woo hoo !
It doesn't take much to amuse me. :celebration:

Def not the best game I've ever played. Not even close. But still fun for the most part. Looking forward to the GOTY edition before I take it seriously. Grats' Beth.
