Only because of the memory it brings? It's not possible that he just happens to STILL enjoy playing catch? So the only reason I enjoy ice cream now is because I ate it as a child? It has nothing to do with actually liking ice cream? Doesn't matter that it's delicious, nope, only that I had it as a child. Not meant as a personal attack, but good Lord, that's some strange logic.

It's been said over and over, but I'll say it again. Folks like Morrowind for the same reasons they like bacon, or six or chocolate, they enjoy them. Simple as that. No rose colored nostalgia glasses required.

Now I want a bacon six chocolate Morrowind :/

I played Pong in 1972 when it was released and I still think it blows Daggerfall out of the picture

I used to play Pong but then I took an arrow in the knee :yucky:

!!! Your invention intrigues me! My only concern is that us "older" folks may run the risk of throwing our backs out. :hubbahubba:

We should be fine if we do some stretches, possibly a stairlift.
But better safe than sorry, and get some paramedics on standby.

Morrowind ain't a better game. I played it when it came out and only did the main quest and het fighters guild( and some other quests) .... and while the main quest was ok most of the other questlines where just tedious.

I do think it's nostalgia . Morrowind was great at that time but if I compare the 2 games then skyrim is much better.

- more to do
-much better quests
- dual wielding
-dragons and dragon shouts
- the dungeons are much much better in skyrim like blackreach it's the most beautiful place i've ever seen in a game.
-the graphics
- the voice acting etc

I don't understand why skyrim gets that much complaints from whiners.... I mean even the things that 99% of the people .

For me skyrim is one of the best games I ever played and while morrowind was a great revelation at the time is not even in the same league.

It isn't nostalgia on my part. Oblivion was my introduction to TES and I absolutely loved it. I then got Morrowind because I wanted more. Initially it took me a while to get past the confusing combat and low poly count, but then I took Silt Strider to Ad'Ruhn, arrived in the middle of an ash storm and I was sold.

I love all elder scrolls games, but for different reasons. Morrowind because it was alien and had lots of weird people with fun quests, Oblivion because of its art style and the music of that game, and now Skyrim because of its world, its one of the best worlds in video games, even though it's not as alien as Morrowind it has much more unique places and overall diversity in environment. And daggerfall, just because of its pure amount of content, never been in a dungeon in a video game longer than 2 hours before i played it.

For the quest i see in skyrim only much short quest, but skyrim "fail" in too much thing like

Variety and lenght of quest
All the magic sistem have problem and the number of magic is low and cutted
No vampire questline (they add a very short werewolf questline then why don't give us back a better vampire questline?)
The crafting is ridicoulos and is only a stupid press of a button lacking of immersion
Instead giving us more armor and weapon (more types of weapon with their respective styles), they give use 3 type of weapon with the same style of attack and a two handed version which is the same style of the one handed only more slow

Skyrim oblivious the best game we see in years better of obliovion(the things lost between skyrim and oblivion aren't too much and the better thing are alot), but is the fifth elder's scrolls, why we have less thing?console is a problem?(i have console)
