Empire vs Storm Clocks what is canon?

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 1:02 am

what do you think will be canon or should be canon? After doing both it seems like The Empire is the more moral and Justifiable choice, but the way it plays out it seems that the Storm Cloaks are the ones it's supposed to go that way for the unavoidable fall of the Empire and having most nations independent with the dominion trying to take over all of them.

What do you think?

Well I'd be crazy surprised if anything called a "Storm Clock" made it into into the ES canon, since there's been no mention of it in Skyrim, or any of the preceding ES games.

Hey guys, what did the Storm Clock say to the Imperials?

"It's time for you to leave Skyrim!"

The saddest part about that is it's not even a Type O for some bizarre reason I thought it was Stromclocks. Maybe because it's 3:00am

Personally, I've taken the necessary steps to ensure Whiterun is in full control by the stormcloaks. How this transpired, I have no idea...I simply followed some orders. Now, given the aspect that it could go either way, I believe it is apparent that those living in the secluded areas of Skyrim have their own opinions and objections to the rule of the stormcloaks. As an imperial (the race of my character) it can only be said that the nords should inherit Skyrim, considering all of their lore is based there, and not on some other distance place from Tamriel.

Hopefully the Empire. A strong, unified Empire is the only hope for future peace in Tamriel, for if the Empire falls to the Aldmeri threat, so will the other provinces of men. That way, we can have TES VI with a main quest focused on politics and war during the Second Great War sometime in 4E.

Forsworn.

But anyway, no set cannon yet (that we know of at least, the developers probably have an idea). I'd hope the Empire is successful even if it doesn't save it in the longer run.

And as an aside, I think we should change the names of all the factions. I say the M-Plier beat the Storm Clocks.

The only legitimate Canon would be to force a moot and for the Empire to leave Skyrim; letting them decide their sovereignty. The Empire Should take a hands off approach. Not Everyone in Skyrim agrees with Ulfric, he seems a bit selfish. Tullius is also a Tyrant who seeks personal glory, meanwhile Skyrim suffers. As Rulers usually play games with the lives of citizens. Peace can never be possible with the Elves, for they seek Theocracy, conquest and control over speech.

Stormclock is actually... a much cooler name. Do you have any prior experience or qualifications? No? Perfect, you'll fit right in writing for Bethesda.

I don't know, Tullus doesn't seem that bad - plus he isn't High King or anything like that so I would questioned tyrant.

Nah, Strom Clocks has a fine range of clocks covering all time keeping needs and a history of clock making that stretches back to the Oblivion Crisis. Storm Clocks are just one particular model available for purchase (albeit the most popular one).
