It's very obvious that the developers at Bethesda have either become a bunch of puritans or cowards scarred off towards the wishes of Fox News/conservatives unlike their Daggerfall days which I think Bethesda needs to go back to especially these days that nudity and sixuality in games is slowly getting more and more accepted (as shown in Witcher, God of War series, Heavy Rain, Dante's Inferno, Dragon Age, etc).

Not so much sixual, but I do miss the romance and friendships that Bioware are so good at injecting into their games. The lack of in Skyrim leaves the game feeling flat somehow.

In Skyrim it's almost like they don't know what to do with sixuality . They mention it they approach it and than they back away from it, which is confusing. Like in Riften you have 2 Ventureis Ladies one committing advltery and the other just having fun I guess and there's no way to get in on that......... Odd since you can in Fallout New Vegas.

Yeah but the fact God of War 3 and GTA is made in America and Bio-ware is Canadian kinda discredits that argument and Fallout NV had brothels and Casual six so that just blows it out of the water.

Tell me about it. They had prosttutes in Arena and Daggerfall. Funny how The Witcher 2 is rated "M" just like Skyrim, and Witcher 2 has full six scenes in it. Bethesda, in my opinion, are turning into tight ass prudes who don't want to offend the soccer moms who buy their kids this game. But I can't say that I blame them. This game is selling better than Witcher 2. And plus, Bethesda doesn't want to get a bad name that their games are too smutty and lewd for kids. Despite their "M" rating, many parents are buying their under-18 kids this game. So while it svcks that there aren't any sixual themes in this game (at least that I've seen), Bethesda is a business and they do have to adhere to a certain code of conduct and ethical, moral standing if they want to come out on top, so to speak.

If you mean that, I don't see why not on some occasions. It can make quests more interesting.

I mean more along the lines of other RPGs Like Dragon Age or Mass Effect or even Fallout NV there was no nudity in those games. Not that I would want to see Dragon Age nudity with that Team America puppet six, but a little more than "Make me a Sandwich" and "give me Money" would be nice.

In Fact the only RPG I can think of that had nudity was Oblivion and The Witcher 2. The Witcher 2 six Scenes were unnecessary.

However that Torture Chamber in The Witcher 2 really did add to the immersion and if they still had their bras on I would of been like "WTF who strings people up, Tortures them and makes sure there bras stay on tight?"

Kinda silly when you see stuff like that all I'm saying. There is a time and place for it and Skyrim is rated M so really no excuse why people are wearing bras in Torture Chambers, but their heads flying off is ok :nono:

six & Nudity shouldn't be exclusive to porm and should be brought out to the public sphere no different than violence. Infact it's even disturbing that nudity is often equated to porm (as if our society is creating rapists via sixually repression by viewing the nvde body as prey not something to that should be praised and accepted naturally) which people really need abandon this notion.

I have played Red Dead (Not Witcher, cause I'm on PS3) and I was fine with the stuff on it (considering it had only one six scene, even then, I skipped it). I (just like MANY others) are uncomfortable with it, is there a problem with that?

Hmm, good point. Bit of a double standard there...graphic depictions of murder, decapitation, cannibalism, etc....but can't show a bare(male or female) butt? I realise that having full nudity would result in so much uproar with the bible pounders that the game would be seriously hampered for sales, but in my mind, re-creating a decapitation, blood spray and all, is worse than a bit of skin! There was a post about Sapphire also....I was a bit surprised they did that much, really. I think that would make a good quest line (modders??). My second playthrough I am playing a full-on Paladin, and a quest to right that wrong would be a perfect quest for her.
