Enemies yielding too soon

Post » Thu Dec 15, 2011 6:20 pm

The last couple of days I've encountered several enemies, from random bandits to named "boss" characters, who yield upon engaging them, or after a couple of hits which only remove a few % of their hp.
This is really annoying having to chase them down their lair hitting them in the back (since they don't seem to un-yield either) rather than having an epic battle or w/e, reloading doesn't seem to help.

Anyone else encounter something like this?

Level 68, mainly physical combat oriented.

EDIT: I have searched the boards and collective bug lists but not seen any mention of this problem.

You scare them... They are not yielding.. they are running away... (Completely different. A yield is when they fall and surrender. Bosses don't yield, they cry how they are going to kill you, when they get back up...)

When they run away, they are looking for cover, or trying to find an elevation to reach you, or going to get back-up help, or lead you to a place where they can fight, or should be originally fighting from. (They could have wandered away from the original "HOME" destination. They will run HOME then come back to battle???)

They do tend to run, if you can not be found... (They fear invisible mosquitos, who inject arrows in the knee, neck, and throat.)
