Official DLC Idea: Tavern Life

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 5:09 am

I guess Bethesda is going to have big involved DLCs but I wish they would have other types too like a DLC to add to taverns

The DLC would add mini games to taverns like arm wrestling and gambling games, more bard songs for the bards to sing, the ability to buy everyone in the tavern a drink and then have everyone sing baudy songs like they do in some taverns IRL, more variety to the tavern brawl with a big brawl with everyone in the tavern possible, and more

Sounds like a waste of money, and Bethesda's time. I'd rather they get to work on those expansion pack-sized DLC's we were promised.

They wouldn't do this, it's already confirmed that Bethesda is going to work on Bigger and Better DLC, like the Shivering Isles.

I've played games with mini games like that and unless they're extremely addictive, their a waste of time and in the case of Fable II, downright annoying. The only way to make money in that game was to play the boring mini games and it was a pain in the butt. I don't think Bethesda should waste their time and money making mini games like that, but the pubs and inns could use some sort of boxing ring or archery contest or anything that doesn't take you out of the game and play in a menu. They should include this with other stuff in a DLC and not make some stupid $10 Skyrim: Pub Games DLC.

You're already setting yourself up for disappointment. They never said "expansion-pack sized." They did say it was going to be bigger than Fallout3's biggest DLC but smaller than Shivering Isles.

I think a lot could be improved around Skyrim & it's Tavern life. I would rather have a smaller more interesting world full of things to do than a huge (expansion) that only makes Skyrim look more empty.

Source? Because I was under the EXACT same assumption when it come to their statements. Would be rather disappointing if they didn't. I am hating the bite-sized DLC's/

If it's anywhere near as good as Point Lookout I'll be a happy camper.

I don't know why everyone [censored] on fable, it was so futuristic.... so innovative..... nothing we have ever seen before... synergy!

Thank you mr. molyneux, for dressing a turd up as a poodle and telling us it barks.
