Could someone share where your saved games are kept in Skyrim ?

press the start button and go to system menu....then go to load.......and your saves and autosaves should be there

I mean on my hard drive. I'm playing the PC version and want to back up my saved games just in case of any issues.

or if you are talking about creating a back up then acess your save file on your desktop/main console screen and save onto a flash usb stick..or if ur ps3 owner like me then sony offer a free cloud/back up system where you could put your saves there

in your My documents/My games/Skyrim folder.

Yeah save before you do anything drastic, so you can load back

Look in the games file in your programs. There should be a save folder in the the games folder. Go in the saves folder and copy and paste your save files to a new folder on your computer. Like make a backup save file folder in the My Documents folder. Then every once in awhile while you are playing replace the old saves with the new ones.
